Annual General Meeting / Section Meeting

Friends from all and any Yearly Meetings in Asia West Pacific are invited to join our AGM / Section Meeting, an opportunity to hear how FWCC Asia West Pacific has been progressing over the last year or so as well as confirm the Committee members.
Clerk Jonathan Fletcher will provide an overview; Treasurer Harold Wilkinson will give us a financial picture of the Section and catch us up on the Bohol Water Project, Secretary Adrian Glamorgan will describe future directions Asia West Pacific Section , subject to funding, QUNO representatives Aletia Dundas (New York) and William Knox (Geneva) will reflect on Friends’ quiet diplomacy in the United Nations, and Assistant Secretary Marj Angalot will attend to our spiritual reflection.
Note: this isn’t what we call a “Section Gathering” - we are looking at options available in months ahead for a get-to-know each other event over an extended period - but this AGM Section Meeting is an opportunity to get to know the Committee. And looking further ahead, Jonathan Benyei will also share with us progress on World Plenary plans for Johannesburg in August 2024. Hope you can join us!
