The Friends' School Quaker Values Committee
Purpose
The Committee:
supports The Friends' School in implementing Quaker values and its Statement of Purpose and Concerns throughout the School community.
encourages and facilitates connections between the School and the Quaker community.
Identifies lessons from running an organisation the size of The Friends' School on Quaker principles and, where possible, advances these lessons beyond the School community.
The Committee is a subcommittee of The Friends' School Board which appoints one person nominated by each Regional Meeting, together with other members.
Thus the Committee is not technically a Committee of Quakers Australia, but is closely connected with us.
